Long story short, I had Gloomhaven for a short time and I recall there being an Envelope X inside but I didn’t open it so I don’t know what it was. From the outside, it looked the same as the picture in the add-on section of the kickstarter store. So, should I get the upgrade ? Is there some kind of difference that would make getting that worth it?, So, Envelope X is a major fuck you to every player that opens it. But having now exceeded $10 million dollars in funding for Frosthaven, Issac Childres is now making the final push for the last $2.4 million to become the most backed game on Kickstarter ever. It seems like every other retirement, I keep picking one PQ card that unlocks Envelope X , and one that unlocks some character class. After reading early on that picking an Envelope X quest for a first retirement would be very disappointing, I have always picked the locked class instead.
