I was searching about the special edition controller , that I want to buy, and something made me confuse. On the stores that are officially selling them, it says that the item isn’t available, and on Amazon, it says that it was discontinued ; on the stores that keep selling them, the controllers are really expensive (it’s costing much more than $75).
They probably wouldn’t shut the Wii U ‘s servers down before every one of their major franchises can be played online on another home console. Anyway, the reason the DS and Wii ‘s servers were shutdown was because the third-party company running the servers was closed, and the consoles were too old for Nintendo to justify changing the servers.
